Experience in the development and implementation of cyber defence strategies, in a large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
- Proven experience in managing Cyber Security Incidents in large, complex, geographically disappeared organizations, leading technical operational teams through these incidents as well as executives and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience building out and managing cyber threat detection and response capabilities for organizations, including open source and paid technologies.
- Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise.
- Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff at the organisational, state and national levels.

Whilst specific ICT or information security tertiary or industry certifications are not a prerequisite for this role, they will be highly regarded in conjunction with previous experience in senior IT operations and/or operational security roles especially around SIEM, Vulnerability Management and Incident Response.
