- Brisbane ( 2 days a week WFH)

We are seeking a Technical Cyber Security Specialist with experience in delivering cyber security initiatives and technical knowledge of cyber security concepts.

**Some Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Assist in the discovery, design, documentation, delivery, and operationalisation of multiple cyber security capability initiatives across the Corporate and Operational
- Technology environments, including but not limited to:

- Controls aligned with the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s Essential Eight
- Implementation of a network and asset monitoring / visibility solution;
- Implementation of role-based access control;
- Implementation of Security Information and Event Management; and
- Implementation of Extended Endpoint Detection and Response.
- Support the Technical Security lead in the delivery of project outcomes.
- Assist with the assessment and evaluation of the adequacy of the existing cyber security controls for Our client information and technology systems and make recommendations for improvement.

**Some Key Requirements Include**:

- Experience with managing operating systems (especially Linux) and common
network services, e.g. web servers, file sharing servers, etc.
- Experience with firewall and network security technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages and automation.
- Experience with SIEM solutions, logging and log analysis, Azure Sentinel.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security solutions.
Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security capability improvement
initiatives.
- Demonstrated cyber security networking experience, including configuration of access control lists, firewall rulesets, proxy services
- Demonstrated experience role-based authorisation methodologies, authentication technologies and security attack methodologies.
- Detailed understanding of Azure and network security technologies.
