**About the Section**
The People, Property and Security Section is responsible for providing a wide range of human resources, property, facilities, and security services. You will work with a dedicated and passionate team that delivers the following broad functions:

- Business continuity and emergency management
- Agency security
- Property and facilities
- Remuneration and workplace conditions
- Workforce development, recruitment, and diversity
- Policy, industrial relations, and strategy
- Workforce performance and health

**Job specific duties**
As the Property, Business Continuity and Security Officer, you will support the delivery of NHMRCs business continuity function and day-to-day property maintenance, leasing and property service provider (PSP) contract management including:

- carry out the day-to-day facilities operations for the Canberra and Melbourne offices, including the Whole-of-Australian-Government Property Services Coordinated Procurement (PSCP) arrangements, inbox management, logging work orders and liaising with service providers
- support the management of accommodation, facilities and environmental policies and procedures, including internal and external reporting requirements
- assist with financial processing and procurement activities associated with property operations and business continuity functions
- collaborate with the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Team on WHS matters relating to our tenancies
- assist with security operations and associated office services including reception, meeting room support, and mail room services as required
- undertake business continuity functions including testing, monitoring and evaluation of policy and processes, and work collaboratively with other business areas to ensure NHMRC’s business continuity plan meets legislative and operational requirements
- assist in the management of the NHMRC Emergency Management Framework.

**Highly desirable**
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the following will be highly regarded:

- Working with Whole of Government Property Service Providers
- Business continuity skills and experience
- An understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework
