Junior Cafe Assistant

**Barista Assistant - Immediate Start**

**Part-time or Casual Position - 15-25hrs**

We are seeking a highly passionated, motivated and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualification to come and join our team at our front of house.

The role is to be assisting basic cafe works with team.

Kooco espresso bar & kitchen has been proudly delivering outstanding quality and an excellent dining experience where the aim is to always exceed our clients' expectations.

Duties include, but are not limited to food preparation, food service, sourcing local produce as well as some cleaning and dishwashing and other general duties around.

**Duties**:

- Assisting senior baristas at espresso machine
- Making coffee shots
- Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Taking orders and preparing beverages such as coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
- Operating the cash register and handling cash and card transactions.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the cafe, including tables, chairs, countertops, and equipment.
- Restocking supplies such as napkins, cups, and utensils.
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking.
- Communicating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean and organized storage area for supplies and ingredients.
- Following health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
