**Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA)**

**Branch Manager Technology Planning and Delivery - Strategic Infrastructure Leadership**

**Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role is a key member of the Agency's senior executive leadership team** and will play a pivotal role in the Agency's strategic national infrastructure technologies and services. As the Agency continues to expand its national digital infrastructure solutions, and partners with new and innovative technology partners, the Branch Manager will ensure the fundamentals of technology delivery in a complex environment are of the highest standard, while managing operational and emerging risk.

**Leading the Technology Planning and Delivery Branch** and managing the Agency's approach to national infrastructure delivery and service provision, three critical imperatives of the role include: the integration and enhanced collaboration of national infrastructure partners to support the Agency's work program; managing key Agency ICT partners; and the delivery of complex projects to support the modernisation of Australia's national health infrastructure.

With increasing complexity, and as **a **key enabler of technology adoption with significant contract value investment**, the Branch Manager role involves technological and leadership stretch. You will enjoy both critical BAU responsibilities for national infrastructure support and enhancements and drive nationally significant projects focused on modernising for the future. **Your Expertise
This vital role requires technology leadership at an enterprise-scale, with demonstrated alignment to the scope, complexity and pace of the ADHA environment. Expert level business and technology capability with diverse stakeholder collaboration, multiple external provider dependencies, numerous and complex projects, and values-driven leadership that inspires and empowers teams is essential.

You will be a **strong technologist**, with **demonstrated technology program delivery** and **long-term infrastructure partner collaboration** experience **at** a **CIO-like level**. You will possess deep vendor management expertise with global tech partners, and with clarity and transparency, have a history of managing performance, contracts and relationships, at scale. You will also have budget management capabilities and knowledge of technology project build and sustainment cost estimation. You will couple this strong set of technical capabilities with a demonstrated record of contemporary, strategic leadership and a desire to and/or prior engagement in improving the health and wellbeing of Australians.
