Our Central Community Mental Health Team is a cohesive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team that values the contribution of clinical psychology in the treatment of mental health issues. The Psychology Registrar position provides opportunities to undertake psychological assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions within a recovery framework, and be part of a team providing crisis support.

The 2-year registrar program (Early Learning Program) offers a rich opportunity to develop clinical skills and expertise in a supportive work environment. The opportunity to rotate to another part of the service (most likely the women’s psychiatric inpatient unit) will also be provided.

To be Successful in this Role you will be:

- Committed to undertaking a 2 year early learning program which offers exceptional opportunities to meet the Psychology Board’s requirements for clinical endorsement including professional development activities, and individual & group supervision
- Passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of consumers in public mental health, and developing excellent clinical skills
- A team player who is keen to draw on the experiences of others and can also work autonomously
- Committed to developing and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions in collaboration with the treating team
