We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and professional **Support Workers** to join our team. In this role, you will provide a range of essential personal, emotional, and practical support to NDIS participants, empowering them to live as independently as possible and engage with their communities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care Support**:

- Assist participants with daily activities such as **bathing, dressing, grooming**, and **personal hygiene**.
- Provide support with **mobility**, including helping participants to move, transfer, and use mobility aids.
- Assist with **medication reminders** and ensure medications are taken as prescribed.
- **Community Engagement and Social Support**:

- Support participants in attending **social, recreational, and community activities**.
- Encourage and promote participation in community outings, hobbies, and social events.
- Help facilitate the development of **social skills**, relationships, and integration into the broader community.
- **Domestic Support**:

- Assist with light **housekeeping** duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a comfortable and clean living environment.
- Support participants with organizing and managing their **household tasks** and budgeting if necessary.
- **Individualized Support**:

- Follow **individualized care plans** that address the specific needs and goals of each participant.
- Encourage and empower participants to make their own **decisions** and promote **independence**.
- Provide **emotional and social support** to foster positive mental well-being and build trusting relationships.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Accurately document daily activities, **incident reports**, and any changes to a participant’s health or well-being.
- Communicate regularly with **supervisors** and other healthcare professionals involved in the participant's care.
- Participate in **case reviews** and updates to care plans, ensuring alignment with the participant’s goals and needs.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure participants’ **safety** and **well-being** by following all health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and assist in infection control procedures.
- Attend mandatory training and adhere to all NDIS requirements.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience in **disability support** or a similar role is highly desirable.
- **Certifications**:

- **Certificate III in Individual Support**, **Disability**, or a similar qualification (preferred).
- **First Aid** and **CPR Certification** (or willingness to obtain).
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check** (required).
- **Driver’s License** and **Reliable Transport** (preferred, depending on location).
