We are currently looking for several committed, caring and professional individuals to join our team on a casual basis leading to a permanent role, depending on future need. The advertised role has various shifts.

**TYPICAL DUTIES MIGHT INCLUDE**:

- Supporting participants to develop and maintain independence in the community.
- Implementing behaviour support plans aimed at supporting individuals who demonstrate challenging behaviours to achieve their goals.
- Supporting customers with personal care including bowel care, and other health and hygiene issues such as eating, dressing, toileting and showering.
- Undertaking various household tasks including mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent qualifications.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a car, as the workplace is not close to public transport.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers
- Demonstrated ability to work with Challenging behavours is a must
- Primarily the shifts are fixed however your flexibility to work casual shifts, as needed is required if you need more hours.
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- working with Challenging Behaviour: 1 year (required)
- Working with people with borderline personality disorder: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Workers Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
