**Job Title: Bilingual Support Worker (Turkish-speaking) - Mental Health Focus**

**Salary**: Per hour, dependent on experience

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Turkish-speaking Support Worker** with experience in mental health to join our team. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges, empowering them to live independently and engage with their community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **emotional and practical support** to clients with mental health needs.
- Assist clients with **daily living activities**, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in **developing independence, social skills, and community participation**.
- Facilitate and encourage **mental well-being strategies** to help manage stress and emotions.
- Communicate effectively in **Turkish and English**, ensuring cultural sensitivity and understanding.
- Maintain **accurate documentation** and contribute to care plans.
- Work collaboratively with **health professionals, family members, and support coordinators**.

**Requirements**:

- **Fluent in Turkish and English** (spoken and written).
- **Experience in mental health support** (e.g., NDIS, community services, disability support, or related fields).
- **Understanding of mental health conditions** and trauma-informed care practices.
- Relevant **qualifications in Disability Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or a related field** (or willingness to obtain).
- Current **First Aid & CPR Certificate**.
- Valid **Working with Children Check (WWCC), NSW Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check**.
- Australian **Driver’s License** and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Strong **interpersonal and problem-solving skills** with a person-centred approach.

Pay: $30.00 - $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

- Fixed shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
