**About the role**

This role is part of our Friends Child Care Centre, reporting directly to the Director of Childcare. In this role you will provide support to children’s learning and development, including contributing to the educational program and practice as well as assisting with the delivery of an approved learning framework.

We will provide you with an opportunity to obtain your qualification through paid hands-on training, supported by our qualified and passionate staff.

Friends Child Care Centre provides an exceptional early childhood program for children aged 6 months to school years in a home-like environment. We strive to provide quality early learning programs that foster children’s sense of wellbeing and personal confidence.

**We have permanent full-time opportunities available as part of the Friends Child Care team at St Vincent’s Lismore campus.**

**Your skills & experience**
- A passion for innovative care and education of children;
- Highly motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Previous experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool aged children desirable;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a diverse range of parents, carers and their children;
- A willingness to learn and be support by qualified educators.
