Motel Housekeeper

The Sphinx Hotel, previously known as The Golf View Hotel-Motel, is a popular Geelong tourist attraction that is known worldwide.

Owned and operated by one family for 51 years, the Egyptian inspired Sphinx is a premier venue for food and entertainment in our region with a bistro, sports bar, nightclub, gaming room, motel & bottle shop.

The Sphinx Hotel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic motel housekeeper to be part of the family. We are looking for someone that can be reliable and flexible. You will be required to be available weekends and some weekdays from 9:30am to 2pm depending on occupancy and rotating shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Room check out cleaning: Making beds, tidy dishes, wipe down benches, cleaning and sanitising bathroom and toilets, restocking of in room amenities, Vacuuming, mopping, clearing cobwebs, cleaning windows in the rooms and balconies, rubbish removal, removal of soiled linen and towels.
- General cleaning and room tidies as required.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with guests and staff.
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible with shifts
- Ability to work weekends and some days mid week 9:30am to 2pm. (Please note days will differ depending on occupancy. Will be rotating with current staff) APPROX. 15 hours per week.

**The following will also be required of successful applicants**:

- Victorian Driver Licence and your own, reliable vehicle
- Physical capability of meeting the requirements of the role
