**Corporate Security Trainee - No Experience or Qualifications Required**

We have an exciting opportunity to gain formal security qualifications and employment with one of the leading security companies in Australia

You will be provided with the opportunity to work across several different sectors; corporate, defence, distribution centres, government, health, aviation, and more

**You will be provided with**:

- Certificate II in Security Operations (including First Aid and CPR)
- QLD Security Licence
- An exciting new career with a leading national security company
- Remuneration under the Security Services Industry Award 2020
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good literacy skills
- High level of presentation
- Reasonable fitness
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Not experiencing unmanaged levels of anxiety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to pass police clearance
- Driver Licence and own transport
- Flexibility and reliability for 24/7 employment
- Ability to commit to 8 days of classroom training (8:30am-5pm) to gain the Certificate II in Security Operations - this training will be funded but participants will not be compensated for attending

**Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensuring the safety of staff, clients and visitors
- Provide excellent customer service
- Communicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholders
- Continual monitoring of CCTV and radio communications systems
- Liaising with police and emergency response services
- Locking and unlocking of building
- Monitoring and responding to fire and alarm panel alerts
- Foot patrols
- The production of security reports
- Identifying and reporting hazards
- Providing emergency First Aid
- Responding to alarms and calls for service
