**About the Role**

**This is a Fixed Term Position until 31 December 2025**

We're seeking an experienced leader to join the Department of Transport and Planning as the **Delivery Manager, Grampians**. In this key role, you’ll oversee all VRMC contracted works across the Grampians region, managing six depots, over 70 staff and contractors, and a budget exceeding $25 million.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of road maintenance, emergency response, and civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with the Roads Management Act 2004 and delivering value for money. The role also includes financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and contract management.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Maintenance Delivery, you’ll lead regional Team Leaders and work closely with Program Managers and senior advisers to meet contractual requirements and drive safety and performance innovation.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**- _Experience in the delivery of_ _infrastructure capital and maintenance works._
- _Experience leading and managing road maintenance delivery teams within a commercial and performance-based environment._
- _Leadership experience managing geographically dispersed workforces._

**Desirable**- _Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as civil engineering, project management or equivalent._
