**About the Opportunity**

**Full Time** Security Officer - Site Security Officer responsible for maintaining and recording effective traffic throughput and the delivery of items and goods to **Toll Eastern Creek, NSW 2766**. The first point of contact and Security response.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the Site perimeter.
- Confirm everyone who is issued with a security access card to the site has completed the relevant induction and provided the appropriate approved access level.
- Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, Screening Area, Site buildings and grounds via CCTV, access control system and the visitor management system process.
- Respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
- Report and record any fault in any system or device.
- Issue of permanent and temporary staff security access cards, contractor and visitor passes.
- Control the issue and return of keys and security access cards and contractor and visitor passes and update systems and registers.
- Traffic control - pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, parking areas.
- Complete routine checks of security access cards, CCTV systems, intruder alarms, X-ray and ETD equipment.
- Ensure ETD consumables are stocked and available at all times.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports of activities and performance.
- Provide daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms and any checks.
- Conduct scheduled locking and unlocking of the site including buildings, gates and restricted areas when requested.
- Identify and report any security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
- Carry out foot patrols of site perimeter, car parks, building interiors and grounds as required ensuring presentation of security identification passes to all access control door readers during evenings and weekends for validation.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner with no unnecessary risks.
- Any other security related duties as instructed.
- Provide additional resources as required for emergencies or special events such as open days or annual general meetings.
- Assisting with incident and accident investigations and creating reports.

**About You**
- Current and applicable NSW Security license
- Current First Aid Certification
- Must have Driver's licence
- Certificate 2 in Security Operations
- Previous experience in a similar role desired
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Full vaccination is mandatory for all applicants.

**Salary**: $23.00 - $49.00 per hour
