**About our role**:
Our team have a dynamic sales opportunity for a Territory Manager with responsibility for our Foodservice customers across the South West Sydney / Central West territory for New South Wales. Reporting to the State Distributor Manager - New South Wales, you will be responsible for nurturing approximately 2000+ existing customer relationships with the goal of maximising new and growth opportunities within the Foodservice business across a variety of market segments. Additionally, in role, you will manage the relationships with Distributors within the territory to gain further market share.
**What you will do**:
- Build and maintain effective, professional relationships and provide excellent customer service to Simplot customers
- Work closely with the State Distributor team to identify and secure customer opportunities utilising relationships, product knowledge and pricing strategies to gain market share in key product categories
- Develop an in depth understanding of the NSW Foodservice market and the customer dynamic
- Identify and evaluate new customers in line with the state commercial strategy
- Utilise current data to identify customer prospects and maintain the Sales Force database to ensure information is correct and up to date
- Ensure achievement of targets aligned to the sales cycle
- Accurate and timely completion of all administration activities and reports.
**About you**:
To hit the ground running, you will be a proven field sales/account /relationship management professional with a passion for exceeding sales targets. Whilst ideally you will have an FMCG, food service or a retail background, our team will benefit from your tenacious, can-do work ethic, and carefully planned organisational skills that have enabled your proven go to market success strategies gained in your career to date.
Leaning into your strengths of sound solution based selling processes and your excellence in relationship management, you love the fast-paced nature of field based sales work, and relish the opportunity to grow and nurture relationships with customers.
Whilst this is an autonomous role, you will have ongoing support to learn and accelerate your existing sales principles for your territory. With a high energy, enthusiastic outlook, your self-starter attitude to sales based work will set you apart from others
