**The Company**:
Our client one of Australia's larges, protein/meat manufacturer with a long history of producing quality products sold through the retail and foodservice channels. After steady growth over the past ten years they are in a position to invest further and look to challenge their 2 main competitors in the space. As a result of these growth plans, a great opportunity has become available for a State Account Manager to manage their Foodservice/Wholesale channel.
**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the State Sales/operations Manager, the State Account Manager will enhance key relationships with distributors and end users while looking to develop new business. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage key relationships with distributors and wholesalers
- Develop and implement short and long term strategies and joint business plans
- Review your market and communicate trends, developments and new strategy ideas to the wider business
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure consistent delivery and service to the customer
**Your Background**:
- Strong Account Management experience within the Foodservice channel
- Experience working for a food manufacturer in protein or strong foodservice background is favorable
- Great commercial acumen and experience managing key distributors/wholesalers
- Excellent relationship and influencing skills
