**Sales, Admin & Logistics Assistant. **This is a all-rounder role working as part of a team within a busy wholesale office environment. You will have an opportunity to broaden your skills with diverse work - including sales, administration, warehousing and coordinating freight/logistics.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, computer literacy and communication skills are critical to being successful in this role.
Previous experience in either Sales, Customer Service, Administration, Logistics or Transport, the Timber/Hardware Industry or Warehouse Operations is required.
A degree or TAFE qualifications are not required but would be highly regarded.
As an alternative to post-school education, Hands-on applicants with a Fork-lift ticket and a keen to pitch-in as needed attitude would be highly regarded.

**The role will share responsibility for these tasks as a part of a team**:
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly office administrative tasks, including invoicing, backorders, processing credits claims both from customers & to suppliers, checking incoming goods and loading stock into inventory.
- Organise daily interstate, regional and metro deliveries with third parties and keeping all involved updated so to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Assisting the Transport Manager in organising & building loads and runsheets for local deliveries to customers, including managing freight contractors with a view of maximising efficiency while working to customer deadlines, and control and auditing freight costs.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace, (with training) share responsibility for ensuring both freight contractors and loads are safe & conform to all legal requirements.
- Assist with carrying out stock takes with attention to detail as scheduled throughout the year.
- Develop and continually expand knowledge of our product range, operating systems, services and procedures.
- Maintain open and honest communication with all customers, suppliers and staff at all times.
