**About Us**

We’re part of the **Uniqonic Group**, which owns and operates multiple newsagency and tobacconist stores across Queensland and New South Wales. Our Ashmore store has proudly served the local community for over 20 years. More than just a stop for Lotto and tobacco, we’re a local hub for gifts, cards, magazines, stationery, and even a great chat. We believe in warm service, neat shelves, and a smile that makes someone’s day.

**About the Role**

We’re on the lookout for a Store Manager who is ready to take charge, energise a small team, and bring a little joy to every customer interaction.

This role is perfect for someone who:

- Leads by example
- Can coach a team to success
- Enjoys organising and improving systems
- Has a sharp eye for sales and service opportunities

**What You’ll Bring**

We’re not just looking for skills — we’re looking for the right attitude. Ideally, you’ll have:

- A passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences
- A knack for developing others and being the go-to person on the floor
- A can-do attitude, self-motivation, and good vibes
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing the back-of-house stuff (stock control, rosters, banking, etc.)
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience in a retail/store setting
- A current QLD driver’s licence
- Bonus:_ Sales or canvassing experience (but not essential)

**Flexibility Required**

This is a full-time role, and we’re after someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves when needed — especially during busy periods or staff absences.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
