SKATE CONNECTION - Created in 2013, we have 5 stores across QLD / NSW that support the local skate and scooter community by providing quality gear and exceptional service.
We are looking for a Store Manager for our Ashmore Location. The key objective of the store manager will focus on growing the business by focusing on sales, developing the sales team and positively impact the local community.

**Responsibilities and Duties The Role**:
Meet KPI's and store budgets
Managing and motivating a team of sales assistants
Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
Provide training and development among the team
Organise promotions and merchandising
Organise local promotions
Provide customers with the best experience and product knowledge
Be motivated to achieve budget targets
Receiving/processing stock: unpacking, storing, labeling stock
Store presentation/cleanliness
Create a positive, high energy team environment
Responsible for the daily opening and closing of the business, managing daily goal and schedule needs
Takes full responsibility and accountability at store level

**Qualifications and Skills About YOU**:
Sales Driven and proven record of meeting KPI's
Strong understand of merchandising
Proven record for retail management with a minimum of 2 years of retail management experience
Experience in planning, multitasking, and managing a team within a busy store
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Under the direction of the Regional Managers and able to prioritise and complete tasks within an appropriate timeframe
Solid understanding of retail store budgets and sales targets
Passion for an active lifestyle
Complete tasks with attention to detail
Excellent decision making and problem resolution skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
General computer knowledge
License and vehicle an asset

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
