**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Head of Member Proposition & Experience, this critical role is responsible for leading the personal lending and deposits product vision and ensuring compelling propositions that meet the needs of their members.

Key accountabilities include:

- Leading the product and portfolio development life cycle and strategic roadmap from customer research through to product design, pricing, go-to-market strategy development, performance tracking, portfolio optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Managing the “Voice of Member Program” and leveraging insights to inform new product design, product optimisation and portfolio performance outcomes.
- Leading competitor analysis and market research to optimise feature development, new product development and profitability.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to identify new market and product propositions that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Product and portfolio performance analysis and reporting, to ensure the business is achieving growth, retention, and quality outcomes.
- Mapping and optimising member experiences, from activation to closure, identifying opportunities for simplification, optimisation, and digitisation.
- Working with risk and compliance teams to ensure banking regulatory obligations, product reference data and product disclosure documents are maintained.
- Work with growth and marketing teams to ensure the product value proposition is effectively communicated and represented across all member-facing channels.

**The Right Fit**

This role is suited to a dynamic and agile product manager who inspires people and amplifies impact through collaborative and inclusive ways of working. To ensure outcomes in this role it is essential that you demonstrate:

- Degree qualifications and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within new product development and management, ideally gained in the consumer banking sector.
- The ability to distil market analysis, member insights and product performance data to develop member-centric product propositions.
- The capacity and desire to work strategically and operationally as required to solve problems and gain improvements within ambiguous and changing environments.
- Strong commercial skills coupled with a balanced, data-led approach to decision making and growth planning.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage with and influence across all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated experience prioritising effort and successfully managing the delivery of multiple projects concurrently to a high standard.
