Advent Security Services, a leading national security contractor, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Hospital Security Officer to join our team at a private hospital (no Emergency Department) in East Melbourne. This full-time position offers job security, career advancement opportunities, and continuous training and development. **Please note: role is a permanent night shift position.**
About the Role:
As a Hospital Security Officer with Advent Security Services, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Performing various security duties, including administrative tasks.
- Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks.
- Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
- Interacting with stakeholders such as client representatives, building and facilities management, contractors, and the public.
- Responding to emergency situations when required and assisting with unruly or disorientated patients or visitors.
- Assist with car parking operations, when required to do so.
Skills and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Must have a valid Victorian Security Licence.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- A team-oriented nature with excellent communication skills.
- Confidence and competence in handling emergencies.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Drive and motivation to enhance security services and processes.
- A dedicated focus on delivering outstanding customer service with a proactive mindset.
