**About the role**:
The Safety Manager is responsible for the overall Health and Safety program across InfraBuild
- WA. Reporting to the Group General Manager-WA and functionally reporting to the Executive General Manager Health, Environment, Sustainability & Safety.
This role will have significant influence across our sites and will be charged with progressing our safety journey to world class.
This role could suit someone transitioning from a similar role, or it could be a perfect opportunity for a passionate and driven safety professional to step up into this national leadership position.
**The role can be based in Bibra Lake or Forrestfield**
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Health & Safety vision, policy, standards and programs for the division.
- Improve, optimise, and monitor a fit for purpose Health & Safety management operating system covering all aspects of safety work (policies, risk assessments, work instructions etc)
- Strategic planning and initiative development to progress towards world class safety outcomes and safety excellence methodologies.
- Grow and develop the Safety Capability of our people across the division.
- Ensuring no compromise in adherence to safety standards across the division.
- Coach and mentor your safety team in technical skills, leadership and engagement processes
- Identify, develop and implement health and safety continuous improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree qualified in an occupation-relevant discipline
- Experience in managing and leading people through a constructive and collaborative approach
- Strong business acumen complimented by being comfortable working with ambiguity and dynamic environments.
- Demonstrate Behavioural safety Leadership awareness and attributes
- Experience in leading safety across multiple geographic locations
