**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Kiddokove retail play centre, ensuring a clean, safe, and engaging environment for children and their families.
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the venue.
- Monitor inventory levels for retail items, play equipment, and consumables; coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking and cost control.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and in-store events that align with Kiddokove’s brand and enhance customer engagement.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and rostering of frontline staff, including floor supervisors and play facilitators.
- Monitor sales performance, customer feedback, and operational KPIs; prepare regular reports for management and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, child protection policies, and company operational procedures.
- Assist in setting budgets and managing expenses to ensure the store meets financial targets while maintaining service quality.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment that strengthens the parent-child relationship through guided play.

**Main tasks**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Kiddokove store, ensuring all activities are run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with the brand’s service standards.
- Lead, supervise, and train team members—including play facilitators and front desk staff—to deliver a high level of customer service and child engagement.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of merchandise, cleaning supplies, and café items; liaise with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and cost control.
- Plan and coordinate in-store events, seasonal promotions, and themed play activities to boost customer interest and sales performance.
- Create staff rosters, oversee attendance and workplace efficiency, and ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times.
- Track and report on sales, customer satisfaction, attendance levels, and other KPIs; propose operational improvements based on data insights.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols, child protection policies, and regulatory requirements related to retail and recreation environments.
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and functionality of all play areas and facilities, ensuring an exceptional customer experience for children and parents alike.
- Support budgeting and expense monitoring activities to ensure the store operates within financial targets.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail management, preferably in family entertainment centres, hospitality, or service-focused environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and manage daily operations with a focus on customer experience, efficiency, and child safety.
- Experience in inventory control, staff scheduling, and promotional activity planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in family-oriented customer service settings.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices, including child-safe environments.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment with professionalism and care.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
