Screen NSW is the state’s screen funding body and supports the industry through a range of initiatives and programs while also promoting NSW as a premier filmmaking destination.
As Production Attraction Manager, you’ll play a key role developing, implementing, and enhancing strategies that position NSW as a prime destination for screen production. You’ll drive initiatives that attract domestic and international productions while working to ensure our screen sector thrives and evolves.
In this role you will:
- Contribute to planning and crafting strategies that spotlight NSW as a premier screen production destination.
- Manage the delivery and continual improvement of production attraction strategies including advising screen production enterprises on filming opportunities in Sydney and regional NSW; scoping new infrastructure to support screen production; attracting and facilitating visits from producers, directors, and creatives worldwide.
- Promote and administer the NSW Local Government Filming Protocol (‘Film Friendly’), resolving issues between productions and government authorities to ensure smooth operations.
- Cultivate strong, productive relationships with domestic and international screen production companies to boost filming opportunities in NSW.
- Provide strategic advice and utilise data to support decision-making, ensuring strategies are backed by solid evidence.
**About You**
To be successful within this role, you will have:
- Sound understanding of screen production needs and government protocols.
- Proven track record in strategy development, project management, or a related field in screen production.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
