We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Environmental Support Officer to join our very busy Utilities and Government Organisations Assessment (UGO) team within the Industry, Development and Southeast Compliance (IDSC) branch. This position primarily provides administration support services to the UGO team, and occasionally administrative support to the Director (Industry and Development) and Business Centre Managers and staff on a range of matters. The Environmental Support Officer is often required to work within tight time constraints and under pressure and may be required to take on a variety of administrative projects.

Environmental Services and Regulation (ESR) provides targeted, consistent and transparent regulation that facilitates sustainable development in Queensland. ESR proactively manages and monitors environmental risks through a modern and innovative regulatory framework that includes assessment, compliance, investigation and enforcement programs. ESR also provides extensive frontline services both centrally and regionally. ESR's branches across the State consist of IDSC, Coal and Central Compliance (CaCC), Minerals and Northern Compliance (MaNC), Energy, Extractive and Southwest Compliance (EESC), and Waste and Enforcement Services (WES).
