About the Role
The role will also be responsible for ensuring deployment, development, support and operations of fixed plant control systems meet operational requirements and standards. This is a Brisbane CBD based role and occasional site visits and travel to regional QLD will be required, as part of managing key relationships and projects.

What You’ll Do
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and act upon them where required
- Manage and support fixed plant solutions, assets and processes
- Provide assistance to optimise or implement improvements to deliver reliability, performance, and efficiency
- Work with OT Support and site-based teams to resolve issues
- Prepare submissions and manage technologies within budget constraints
- Assist the budget assembly processes for operational technologies (OT)
- Contribute and improve change management processes for OT systems
- Work with customers across the ROC and site-based teams to improve system functionality and usability
- Actively contribute to, assist and share knowledge and information with your team aimed at managing change, improving safety, work processes, cost and teamwork

What You’ll Bring
- 5 + years working with mining fixed plant control systems
- Technology degree or relevant mining industry experience
- Experience in SCADA operations and PLC’s code development
- Experience in customer and vendor management
- Experience in managing and motivating technical teams
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders to achieve required outcomes
- Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
