EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - BASELINE CLEARED SECURITY OFFICER (ADELAIDE)
We are seeking expressions of interest for our high-tech client's corporate office, for future vacancies. Please note that we will only accept applicants who have a Baseline or Negative Vetting 1 Clearance.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive pay rates - Base rate of $26.87 per hour | penalty rates for night work ($32.70), Saturdays ($40.31) and Sundays ($53.74).
- Work / Life balance - 4 days on, 4 days off 24/7 roster pattern | 0600 - 1800 OR 1800 - 0600 | 2 days, 2 nights, then a 4-day break.
- Work for our global technology client, in their Corporate Headquarters in Felixstow, a 10-minute drive from Adelaide CBD.
- Sponsorship to get your NV1 Clearance if you are Baseline Cleared.

THE ROLE & TEAM
Our client is a renowned global technology company, and this role is based at their Corporate Office in Felixstow, north-east of the Adelaide CBD. This people-facing Security Concierge position works in a team of 4 Security Officers and reports to the Operations Manager, and you will be required to work in a team and also independently. We are keen to hear from those that have a bit of security experience, a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance, or a Baseline Clearance. We are also looking for strong IT-literacy, and exemplary customer service and communication skills. The role involves:

- Managing the reception desk - including assisting people that have forgotten their access cards, supporting visitors with the sign-in process, assisting couriers, and interacting with facilities maintenance staff.
- Monitoring other sites in Australia and New Zealand remotely - for example, doing detailed security checks in our systems to provide our client's staff access at another site, where appropriate.
- CCTV monitoring - you may be required to monitor CCTV if there's an incident, do monitoring in that immediate area and get any required footage.
- Patrols & Report Writing - You will be required to do patrols on all levels of the building, as well as the external perimeter, and prepare and submit concise and clear incident reports when required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Current and Valid South Australian Security Licence.
- A high level of customer service skills.
- IT-literate, and willing to learn new systems.
- Experience working with security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm Monitoring. (Experience with Lenel would be highly desirable.)

THE PROCESS
After you have applied you will be entered into our database which we will make contact with when vacancies for this role arise.
Where there is a vacancy, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a 30-minute online interview via Google Meet with 2 members of our Security Team.
If successful after the interview, you will need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment, a national police check, and reference checks.
Upon passing, you'll receive an employment contract plus a final set of Onboarding Forms to complete.
