You will be working for a well-established Australian business that manages civil engineering projects globally for the Government and mining industries.

You will be an experienced Office Assistant working at the Head Office based in North Ryde. A varied role with lots of responsibility, this role will suit you if you are self-motivated and like to use your initiative and want to add value to a busy office.

**The role**:

- Answering phones, professionally responding to queries
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinate couriers
- Control & order office consumables including stationery, kitchen supplies, field equipment and PPE
- Provide IT support for phone system and video conferencing requirements
- Data entry
- Document editing and formatting
- Photocopying, scanning, filing and maintenance of records
- Assist with event coordination and management
- Support new starter activities such as office tours, passes, security codes, photos, etc.
- Assist in ordering and delivery of office equipment, security services, and general office maintenance as well as coordination with facilities services
- Take the responsibility of Fire Warden and designated First Aider for the office
- Other general administration tasks as required such as keeping office & kitchen area tidy

**To be successful in this role, you will require the following essential criteria**:

- At least 2 years office administration or similar experience gained in a corporate environment
- First class communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate skills with MS Office to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident, friendly and professional personality who enjoys a varied admin role
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Self-motivated with good organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Able to work well autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally
