**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be a key member of the governance and company secretariat function. You will support the Director Governance, Risk & Assurance, as well as the Chief Corporate Officer in the management and support of the Board and Board Committees administration, related to the organisation’s corporate governance, legal and regulatory obligations.

You will:

- Support, mentor, coach and train staff to better assess and manage risk by way of training sessions and workshops
- Contribute to maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management framework including the governance structure, processes, policy, roles and responsibilities.
- Engage with business stakeholders to assist in developing a risk culture where risk awareness and proactive thinking are applied in all business decisions
- Ensure operational risks are clearly documented in a centralised risk register
- Contribute to a review process with business stakeholders to facilitate the identification of new risks, and review and update of existing risks
- Assist in the coordination of Board and Committee meetings and liaise with Executives, Chairs and Chief Executive Officer to determine clear agendas and timetables
- Ensure the efficient running of the Board and Committee including preparing agendas, action lists and minutes, assisting to draft and distribute Board and Committee papers

**About You**

This is a fast-paced and varied role with multiple competing priorities and deadlines. Your impeccable organisational and time management skills will be an asset and integral part of your success. You will showcase your high-speed typing skills by accurately recording agendas, minutes and drafting a range of high quality confidential and sensitive documents. Advanced knowledge of MS Office will see you excel in this role.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, with relevant business and/or governance qualifications being highly desirable. Experience in an auditing firm may be favoured as will exposure to enterprise risk management packages.
