**Your new company**

This core Federal Government Department plays a vital role in Australia's social and community systems.

Your new branch is responsible for building and supporting the department's data analytics platforms and related capabilities, the development of technical solutions, and is the primary technical service provider, to support the department’s various programs.

Reporting to the Assistant Secretary, you will be responsible for developing and implementing significant programs of work that support the organisation's strategic direction, and delivery of capability for the government and the department.

**Your new role**

As part of your new role as ICT Program Manager, you'll be responsible to:

- Develop, implement, and manage program governance to ensure it adheres with departmental framework and Digital Solution Division methodologies.
- Develop program documentation to a high standard, including system products, design documentation, systems operation documentation.
- Formulate, organise, and coordinate delivery of interconnected projects, including management and monitoring of program risks and issues and tracking mitigations measures in line with established project management and organisations methodologies.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor progress through aligning technical delivery to the program outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

**1.** A sound understanding of both project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK) and agile frameworks (SaFE) for delivery of ICT projects, with proven knowledge of techniques for establishing, planning, monitoring, and controlling major ICT projects.

**2.** Strong leadership skills, including excellent problem-solving abilities and proven ability to build teams and create a positive team culture, whilst working under pressure and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**3.** Proven track record in delivering successful complex Digital solutions/programs with excellent judgement and the ability to manage budget, resources, and risk to ensure the successful outcomes of projects in a government environment.

**4.** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to understand and influence key stakeholders with complex and competing interests, adapt to changing priorities and provide compelling presentation and facilitation skills.

**5.** High-level strategic thinking skills and the ability to bring together disparate information and views across the organisation to craft a cohesive narrative.

**6. **The ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
