We have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed term contract for a qualified accountant, who will play a key role in the Finance team. The Financial Analyst will provide critical support to senior finance members whilst gaining experience across a number of different finance disciplines. Initially the role will provide cover for a member of our team going on an extended break allowing you to get up to speed with our systems and processes over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. Thereafter, you will be assisting with a broad range of finance initiatives and monthly tasks. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst role is a great opportunity to accelerate any accountant’s career.

**A bit about the role**
- Initially providing coverage for the Assistant Accountant
- Supporting the FC in month end, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow preparation and working capital management
- Finance process improvement and system enhancements, including management and board reporting, ensuring data integrity across Finance and CRM systems to meet internal and external business requirements for accurate reporting and analysis
- Review and reconciliation of commercial/operational agreements
- Supporting other senior finance team members with ad-hoc initiatives, analysing trends and providing insights
- Special projects such as post-acquisition integration planning & execution, and system integrations

**We’ll need you to have**
- Degree in commerce or accounting equivalent
- CA/CPA qualified
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter/delivery-oriented
- Excellent attention to detail

**We’d like you to have**
- Management accounting experience
- Process improvement/finance transformation experience
- Exposure to CRM and ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deal with competing priorities, work under pressure.
