Delivering unparalleled comfort and luxury, the hotel will comprise Archie's restaurant, grab-and-go food market, bar, lobby lounge, 24-hour fitness center and flexible event space for up to 170 people.

**About the Role**

As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Kitchen operations run smoothly and that all culinary and organisational standards are maintained at all times.

Working in a team, you will support the Chef de Partie; Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

- Operate commercial dishwashers and other industrial cleaning equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches ensuring all garbage is removed and equipment is correctly stored
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and safe work practices at all times
- Prepare the equipment required for functions (BBQs, Chafing Dishes, plates etc)
- Assist the chefs with general kitchen duties

**Job Requirements**
- Be flexible and available to work a rotating 7-day roster, including AM and PM shifts and Public Holidays
- Have proven experience in fast paced commercial kitchens environment
- Have a good understanding of the safety elements associated with the job
- Have a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling
- Own transport

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $38.06 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
