Male Support Worker Required

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated male support worker to join our team in providing assistance to individuals with wheelchair impairments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing personal care and support to individuals with wheelchair impairments.
- Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and accompanying individuals to social activities.
- Utilizing a patient and respectful approach in all interactions, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Demonstrating initiative and adaptability in responding to individual needs and preferences.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at all times, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid certification, NDIS Screening Check, and any other relevant certifications.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent)
- Experience working with wheelchair users and driving vehicles suitable for wheelchair accessibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $25.04 - $46.19 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

- Australia (required)
