House Coordinator

Become part of a fast growing disability and community nursing organisation committed to supporting individuals living with a disability to meet their individual goals. As part of a new structure to set our organisation up to delivery quality supports and to grow into the future, we have created three House Coordinator positions to oversee SIL operations of several houses.

The House Coordinator is responsible to lead a team of Disability Support Workers, manage and oversee service delivery of each service outlet, and ensure a happy, safe, home for participants. The House coordinator will also ensure professional standards, legislative requirements and the organization mission, values and objectives are met in accordance with the strategic plan.

The successful applicant will be highly adaptable and an active team player.

Skills and experience
- The applicant will have experience working in a similar role, particularly knowledge of best practice rostering procedures in a similar industry.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with staff and managers to coordinate shifts.
- Well-developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- Previous experience with rostering software like Flow Logic
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Permanent Full-time

Duties include but not limited to:

- Managing a team of support workers within a service outlet and/or community setting;
- Developing and implementing high quality care plans for SHC participants;
- Collaborating with participants and relevant stakeholders to gather input for developing person centered care plans for SHC participants;
- Collaborating with participants to identify goals through a person-centered approach and assisting to work towards achieving their individual goal;
- Undertakeing rostering of support workers ensuring that participants have appropriate care

Essential Criteria
- Experience leading a team of support workers
- Providing quality, therapeutic supports in the SIL environment
- WWCC & Police Check
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence

**Salary**: $63,510.85 - $82,000.00 per year
