**About the role**:
We have an exciting role available for a National Retail Sales Manager to join The Athlete’s Foot Team

Reporting into the GM of The Athlete’s Foot, you will be responsible to lead the corporate store teams in delivering and executing against business objectives and BIP

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Lead and coach your State Manager’s to achieve Sales, KPIs and Operational objectives
- Ensure absolute customer satisfaction and service standards are delivered in line with The Athlete’s Foot mission statement and greet and seat guidelines
- Deliver operational excellence in The Athlete’s Foot store network including stock management, shrinkage, wage control, roster compliance and workforce management
- Ensure all stores meet Brand Standards and execute against campaign guidelines for store presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Contribute to the overall The Athlete’s Foot brand strategy as a member of the leadership team
- Champion new ideas, motivate others to change, readily adapt to changing circumstances
- Build plans to ensure ongoing improvement in the business at store, area and state levels
- Implement effective recruitment and development processes for State, Area and Store team members in line with their stores needs and skill gaps
- Implementation of regular performance reviews
- Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to national OH&S legislation

**To be successful you will have**:

- Demonstrated 5 + years National Manager / Regional / State Manager experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- High Standards of written & verbal communication skills in both one-one and large group environments
- A passion for leading, inspiring & developing your people and proven excellence in performance management
- The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and have a proven track record in driving sales and KPI’s
- Ability to manage to and within budgets
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
