**About the Role**:
You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. You will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centered services to enhance quality of life, empowering people with a disability to live a full life and achieve their goals.

Reporting to the Team Leader, PBS, you will have key responsibilities in implementing an evidence-based approach within behaviour support services, developing and overseeing behaviour support plans in consultation with the clients, and other stakeholders.

The successful person will need to be able to develop individualised strategies that are responsive to the person’s needs and are in line with their goals.

You will ensure practices comply with relevant NDIS regulations and actively participate in regular supervision.

The successful person must have a positive attitude and be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of clients and the business. Successful applicants must have the ability and willingness to travel throughout the Perth Metropolitan region on a regular basis.

**About you**:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will ideally have the following:

- Be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission as a proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Hold a tertiary qualification in an allied health or related field (desirable but not required)
- Experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve
- An understanding and knowledge of working within the NDIS environment including with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

***You will also be required to provide the following information if successful:

- Current Working with Children Check
- Current registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Current Driver’s Licence, own vehicle
- Current Provide First Aid certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening check
