Job Description Summary

As part of the Wireless Team, provide professional engineering services to support SSMCs wireless structural services deliverables. Achieve this by using a highly collaborative approach which is ‘best-fit’ for the projects and SSMC profitability and performance. Monitor demand and utilise expertise to ensure continuity of service delivery across the Wireless business.

Lead the Wireless Structural Services Strategy, maintenance of professional standards, quality control and continuous professional development of the Structural Team.
About the Role

Relationship Management
- Internal and external stakeholder relationships;
- Subcontractor engagement, establishment (tender inwards and outwards), mobilisation and management, where required
- Adopt a proactive and responsive customer-service attitude.
- Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (eg. employees, subcontractors and clients);
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s tangible and non-tangible business objectives; and
- Represent SSMC at stakeholder meetings as necessary.

Service Delivery and Quality Assurance
- Manage the Wireless Structural Teams resourcing requirements and work allocation.
- Complete complex structural engineering designs.
- Resolve engineering escalations.
- Work with the team to resolve difficult sites.
- Assist the build team resolve onsite build issues / queries.
- Review processes and provided recommendations on improvement.
- Review technical and/or structural design work, provide expert technical input, sign-off designs and structural certificates.- Relationship Management
