**What you’ll be doing**:
The objective of the Training and Communications Advisor role is to provide support on the development of training packages and the delivery of promotional materials. This role has two sides - the Training side and the Promotions side. Within the Training space, you will be updating our LMS, reviewing and updating course content and information, driving course completion rates and other activities as listed below. A large amount of our training is related to safety. Within the Promotions space, you will assist with drafting communications for online posts, quarterly/bimonthly newsletters, etc. You will also call for content, curate it and seek approval to publish the content.

Further responsibilities:

- Development of training packages for delivery via the Learning Management System (LMS) Vlearn / Seertech Learning.
- Continuous improvement of processes that support Safety Training activities.
- Ensure successful deployment of training packages via the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Work with Subject Matter Exerts to revise and update training courses.
- Ensure the LMS is configured to correctly target and deliver training as per training matrices and training needs
- Continuous improvement of processes that support promotional activities
- Assist in the development and distribution of Safety promotional material
- Assist in delivering the Safety Communications Strategy
- Update and maintain Safety Systems content on the intranet (VINE)
- Assist team members with their Safety Training related queries
- Monitor training course completion rates and follow up to ensure compliance levels are met

**Who we’re looking for**:

- A Learning and Development (L&D) background is highly desirable
- Course development experience and experience making course content consumable for employees
- Strong written communication skills (as you will publish internal promotional material)
- Focus on continuous improvement. Must be able to question the status quo and constantly change and improve our training materials
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders and expectations
- Very competent with computer systems
