**Description**

Your Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

- Provide a high level of customer service to enhance guest experience
- Assist in leading the Hotel Reception team
- Accurately maintain guest reservations
- Adhere to Hotel Ops & BSL policies and procedures
- Work cooperatively with all Hotel team members
- Follow workplace practices accordingly, complete tasks in a timely fashion and consistently display professionalism
- Treat all guests, peers and external parties with respect, sensitivity and understanding
- Ensure hotel rooms are inspected thoroughly before guest check-ins
- Follow direction from the Front Office and Hotel & Apartments Managers for daily tasks, including unexpected situations that may arise
- Willingness to work both early morning shifts (7:00am start, 3:00pm finish) and night shifts (3:00pm start, 11:00pm finish)

We're looking for people with:

- Previous Hotel Reception or Administrative related work
- Past experience in a duty manager or supervisor role is preferred
- Demonstrated a high level of customer service inclusive of dealing with challenging persons in a professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Use of EFTPOS terminals including manually making a purchase
- Demonstrable leadership skills including motivating, delegation of tasks, training and compliancy with workplace practices
- Can work efficiently with no supervision
- High level of organisation and time management
- Current knowledge of Mount Buller, the Australian ski industry and alpine tourism is preferred
- Current Driver's License - strong driving experience as snow driving is required
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Work effectively within a team whilst also showing one’s own initiative
- Be flexible, punctual and committed to your work schedule (overnight shifts)
- Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure
- Making the most of challenging or unfamiliar environment, including the ability to act with urgency and respond positively to situations
- Resilience to work and reside in isolating conditions

On Mountain Accommodation: $182.00 per week

Off Mountain Accommodation (approx. 20 minutes from the resort): $159.00 per week

- 20% Discount on Food and Beverage at over 11 Outlets
- Free staff transport from the Mountain to Mansfield and back (8 runs each way, every day over winter)
- Free staff car parking at the base of the mountain (Mirimbah)
