**About the Company**

This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and innovative experience within the development of New South Wales government. Our client is looking for a Legal Assistant to provide a broad range of administrative and clerical support for the legal team.

**About the Role**
- Word processing, data entry, photocopying, court filings
- Coordinating files, archiving, file closure, file retrieval, and coordinating office records
- Assisting with preparation and collation of briefing documents, drafting correspondence, and providing support to lawyers with court matters
- Maintaining accurate records of legal matters, and handling confidential and sensitive material with discretion
- Providing quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining effective working relationships.

**About You**
- Minimum of 6months proven administration experience, preferably in the legal industry
- Demonstrate resilience and strong organisational skills to balance high volume workload and competing priorities.
- Be a motivated self-starter committed to achieve team goals
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
