What work will you do? As part of a high-performing legal team, you will:
Support commercial transactions and provide advisory input across various business streams
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts suited to operational and project needs
Advise the business on matters relating to construction and planning
Advise the business on technology and privacy law
Engage with senior stakeholders to offer clear, commercial legal advice
Manage general commercial disputes and help mitigate legal risk across business activities
Monitor relevant legislative developments and assist with legal training and knowledge sharing
Contribute to legal and operational process improvements, including system automation where appropriate
What type of person will be successful? Admitted to practise law in Australia or New Zealand
3–4 years PQE in commercial law (private practice or in-house)
Strong written communication and contract drafting skills
Some exposure to construction law would be desirable
Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Curious, adaptable, and commercially minded
