Are you ready to lead a team with purpose to protect biodiversity and prevent environmental harm?
We’re seeking to appoint a Team Leader, Early Change Monitoring to lead a team to deliver the Early Change Monitoring Program; a state-wide program that uses satellite imagery to detect vegetation clearing and enable early intervention with landholders.
Using satellite imagery and early detection tools, your team will assess land clearing and promote voluntary compliance. You’ll help shape strategy, drive innovation, and collaborate across teams to deliver outcomes that matter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a skilled team of 4 direct reports to deliver the Early Change Monitoring Program through organisational change
- Develop strategic planning documents and workplans to ensure key performance indicators and program objectives are met
- Detect changes in the operational context and take initiative to ensure effective delivery through change
- Lead the implementation of continuous program improvements for the Early Change Monitoring Program
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partner agencies and key stakeholders

You’ll be comfortable trying new approaches, learning from experience, and adjusting course when needed. This role calls for someone who’s not only strategic and forward-thinking, but also brave enough to challenge the status quo and lead with purpose in a dynamic and evolving environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the Early Change Monitoring Program by developing strategies and implementing projects that increase landholder engagement and help the program reach its full potential.
