Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.

Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business, and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

About the role

An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Debt Market Services within Perpetual Corporate Trust. Our corporate trust business is a leading provider of fiduciary and digital solutions to the banking and financial services industry in Australia and Singapore. It administers securitisation portfolios, investment and debt structures to protect the interests of our clients’ investors. Corporate trust supports clients locally and overseas with a unique offering through five key service offerings: Debt Market Services; Managed Fund Services; Perpetual Asia, headquartered in Singapore; Perpetual Digital, and Laminar Capital.

In this role you will be responsible for administering payment functions and provide daily operational and compliance support within the Client Services Team in Trust Services. Key responsibilities include maintaining effective operational client relationships, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures within the Client Services team, and complying with the risk framework pertinent to the Business Unit.

About the Role

Join our dynamic team within Debt Market Services As a Client Services Officer, you will:
- Maintain a working knowledge of assigned Trusts- Execute all payment instructions within agreed timeframes and SLA's- Develop and maintain effective operational client relationships for assigned clients / trusts- Use of all internal control checklists- Invoicing and billing- Onyx Diary entry and follow up- Compliance with Policies and Procedures- Assisting with Client Management and liaison- Archiving and filing- Act as a backup for other team members- Good working knowledge of systems used within the team- Participate in team projects.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar client service role- Prior experience in custody or securitisation is highly advantageous- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients- Maintain robust relationships with both internal and external clients and contacts- Ability to multitask effectively across various responsibilities- Strong attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding client service- A proactive and solution-focused approach, to help meet the needs of our clients.
