**About the role**

As an Assistant Gaming Manager, you are central to overseeing the daily operation of the Table Games business and contribute to the optimal performance of gaming operations. In addition, you will support the Gaming Managers in leading the day-to-day implementation of our business plans and priorities. You will be at the forefront of customer service, compliance, and optimisation initiatives.

You share our commitment to becoming Australia’s leading integrated resort operator and understand that the success of our business is built upon connections and actively foster interdepartmental relationships.

You will lead by example, demonstrating familiarity with the property, current promotions, and tournaments, maintaining high-floor visibility as well as approachability for both our guests and colleagues. You will actively be participating in all briefings, you will be a mentor for our future talent, an advocate for best practice, a champion of change and have a brand of integrity and ‘doing the right thing’.

**Eligibility criteria**
- You are a current Gaming Supervisor with at least 6 months experience in this capacity.
- Completion of GLDP 2 is highly desirable.
- Your team leader is willing to (and has) endorsed you because of your reputation for always demonstrating the Star Qualities
- You are available to work in a rotating roster that includes Days and Night shifts.

- You have a strong level of commercial awareness and able to provide examples of this in practice.
- You have an acute understanding of Guest Service, the impact it has on the Star and the levers available to our team enabling them to ‘Deliver It’ for our guests.
- You are a champion of our compliance and ICM uplift initiatives.
- You have proven stakeholder management capabilities.
- You identify, support, and develop our future talent.
- You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to support a diverse guest and team member base.
- You always display a polished five-star grooming and personal presentation at work.

**Important to note**:

- There is no guarantee of preferred shift approvals being maintained. Any requests for roster restrictions must be submitted prior to any offer for promotion.
- Your total performance history will be taken into consideration when determining your suitability.
