**About the role**

You will be working alongside our Lead Developer in a split role consisting of design and art development. This role is not a remote role, you will need to work within the office in Brisbane. You will have extensive knowledge of 2D/3D pipelines, game design theory, and general Unity Development skills.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a games designer or artist role.
- Bachelor's degree in 3D Animation, 3D Design, Game Design, or relevant degree in the Creative Industries.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D programs, such as Maya, 3dsMax or Blender.
- Extensive experience creating and developing games using Unity 3D.
- Open to feedback and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Passionate about making games with an exceptional level of care and motivation applied.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to thrive within a team environment.

**Extra Credits**:

- Experience shipping commercially successful games on PC/Console.
- Greater experience inside Unity 3D developing games, from Design to Programming.
- Background in concept art, UI or shader creation.
- Extensive understanding of animation principles, animation software and the implementation of 3D character controller within games.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
