**About the Role**

Expressions of interest for **Casual Disability Support Workers** in the Loganlea area. We are looking for Disability Support Workers that are confident and comfortable to provide high levels of personal care for Participants who are wheelchair bound, and to assist people with a disability who have higher level injuries and aim to maintain, or achieve maximum independence in the community and home base settings. We have multiple high levels of personal care roles available and are striving to employ individuals who are genuine and passionate about supporting others’ individual needs.

**_Shifts starts from: _**

6:00am - 2:00pm

2:00pm - 10:00pm

10:00pm to 6:00am

**About You**

You have a positive attitude and empathetic nature. You treat others with dignity, respect and are without judgement. You are physically fit
- capable of constant lifting, bending, and carrying. You are adaptable to the different needs, environments, experiences, and cultural backgrounds of our participants.
- Your skills and experience include: _
- Floor/ceiling hoist
- High levels of Personal Care
- Able to manage dual incontinence
- Able to provide full medication administer
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (2 doses required)
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required

- Real Community Services uses an App. to assist Support Workers for reporting purposes. Your agreement and capacity to use the App to fulfil reporting obligations forms part of your employment conditions.
