**About the Role**

Our Participant is looking for a Female Support Worker that is seeking a casual disability support worker role in the Loganlea and Inala areas.

You will be working directly to support children under 12-year-old with a nonverbal regressive autism and anxiety, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.

You will need to be physically capable of keeping up with an energetic young child and emotionally equipped to handle anxiety and tantrums.

**Childcare and Special Needs school experience are considerable.**

**Shifts available Monday to Friday from 3:00pm - 5:00pm and Wednesday 12:00 -4:00pm**

**Essential Requirements include**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Experience in supporting special needs children
- Experience in ASD, ADHD, anxiety and depression
- Childcare experience is acceptable
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Experience working in mental health or aged care could be particularly helpful in this role
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
