**The Intellectual Property Team**

As the only fully integrated intellectual property team, including a patent attorney practice, within an Australian firm. We approach litigious and commercial matters with a deep understanding of technology and the practical issues that arise when seeking to protect it. Our multidisciplinary team includes lawyers with scientific qualifications, registered trade mark attorneys and registered patent attorneys.

Our lawyers provide superior, practical advice and skilled handling of complex litigation. We are particularly experienced in working as part of global litigation teams and coordinating strategy across jurisdictions. Our clients span the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, telecoms, medical, consumer, agricultural, information technology, energy, mining, coatings and manufacturing industries.

**Your Role**

A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced IP Associate to join us. In this role you will work closely with Partner, Simone Mitchell, on a broad range of litigated intellectual property matters with a particular focus on patent litigation and oppositions. You will have the opportunity to advise clients across a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device and consumer goods industries.

**What You Need**
- strong technical expertise in IP matters, ideally gained at a recognised Australian or international practice
- a Bachelors Degree (or higher) in a relevant Science degree is preferred (but not essential)
- a strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts
- ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
