Mechanical Fitter

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at InfraBuild Mesh in Acacia Ridge. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for responding to equipment breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance on site. The team is highly safety focused and process driven, and we have fun whilst improving the site. This role offers stability, security and long-term career opportunities and genuine progression.

This is a full-time permanent role from Monday to Friday on a dayshift basis.

This role offers competitive rate and opportunities for overtime.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Providing feedback via the maintenance management system
- Liaison with other trades in the workshop
- Completion of all tasks safely and to a high quality
- Certificate IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
- Possess exceptional fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- Confident communicator who can work unsupervised and ability to problem solve
- Ideally background in industrial manufacturing
