Our client located in the Archerfield area is seeking an experience Maintenance Fitters for preventative / breakdown maintenance at their manufacturing facility. These roles are permanent roles, direct with the client and commencing as soon as possible.

These roles will be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of all production tools, plant and equipment to a quality standard that enables maximum production levels to be sustained throughout the plant. The objective is to constantly work toward delivering zero production downtime. These positions make significant contributions to the efficiency of the plant and production output.

**Reporting to the Operations Manager the objectives your role will include.**
- Installing and setting up machinery to make plastics products
- Perform repairs and maintenance to tools, machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Workshop duties including lathe, milling etc.
- Improving the reliability of equipment and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
- Electrical trade qualification or Mechanical trade qualification with 5 years minimum experience
- Exposure to continuous manufacture environments and maintenance
- Machining skills with lathe and milling activities as well as welding.
- Track record in process improvement
- Forklift license an advantage but not essential
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently on improvement projects
- Ability to work 12hr shifts on a 4 on / 4 off roster (2 day / 2 night shifts)
